In City Gardens

I've been reading about different urban gardens, here are the most interesting links:

An article about mini-gardens in Berlin (they're pretty popular there) which may soon turn into construction sites. One of the advantages of having gardens within the city is that the produce doesn't need to be transported. This relates back to the slideshow Evelyn found, but it's something that's currently being used and has been for years

There's also a time-lapse video of an urban community garden over the course of a year from and interesting website called City Farmer which encourages people to grow their own vegetables
